April Giancola moved to the Triangle in 2007 and currently works at the UNC School of Law as a public interest career counselor. After graduating from Emerson College and New England School of Law, she practiced for 16 years in various roles in the public sector before coming to North Carolina.
As one of the founding board members of Oak City Voices, April had previously sung with the Alexandria Choral Society and the Concert Singers of Cary. She is currently the President, and serves on the fundraising and marketing teams.
When she is not watching her 9 yr old son play baseball and soccer, she loves to write plays, walk her beagle mix, Holly, and escape to the beach. April has thoroughly enjoyed watching OCV's growth and hopes to see the group become a sought after women's choir in the Triangle.
