David Lindquist
Board Member
David Lindquist has a long relationship with Triangle Area arts. He sang in community choruses for 28 years including Concert Singers of Cary, Schola Cantorum of Raleigh, the Raleigh Convocation Choir, The North Carolina Master Chorale and St Paul's Episcopal Church choir. He was a board member with Concert Singers and served as its Executive Director from 1999 to 2009. David also served as a member of the Town of Cary Cultural Arts Committee (and was chair 2009-2012) and the Parks, Recreation and Cultural Resources Advisory Board (and was chair 2012-2015) and earned the Town's Cultural Arts Volunteer of the Year and Herbert Young Volunteer of the Year Awards.
David also has 34 years of experience in market research and marketing and started his own consulting practice in 2015. He holds a Master of Arts degree from the University of Connecticut. He is also a leader in Toastmasters International, and earned Distinguished Toastmaster certification twice and District 37 (NC) Toastmaster of the Year in 2019. He is an experienced public speaker who competed in the semifinals of the International Speech Contest in 2014. He also enjoys birding and wildflower gardening. David is honored to be part of the Oak City Voices board and looks forward to continued growth and success.
